Portlaoise GAA Club Results from June 12th to June 18th 2023
Portlaoise GAA Club is saddened to hear of the passing of Liam Hanniffy, father of club stalwart John.
Liam was a regular visitor to Peigs for the Thursday night lotto, and the picture on RIP was from the Fun Day in Rathleague a number of years ago.
Our thoughts and prayers go to John and the entire Hanniffy family on their sad loss.
He is reposing at the chapel, St. Fintan’s Hospital, Stradbally Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, R32 XEN0, tomorrow (Saturday), 19th of March from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.
His remains are then arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Creagh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, H53 EH93, on Sunday, 20th for Requiem Mass at 12.00pm followed by burial afterwards in Creagh Cemetery.
