There are eight disciplines to choose from;

1. Rince Foirne (Irish Dancing)

2. Amhranaiocht Aonair (Solo Singing)

3. Aithriseoireacht/Scealaiocht (Recitation/Storytelling)

4. Bailead Ghrupa (Ballad group)

5. Leiriu (novelty act)

6. Ceol Uirlise (Instrumental Music)

7. Rince Seit (Set Dancing)

8. Traith Na gCeist (quiz)

Competitors for Scór Na nÓg must be under 17 years of age as of the 1st January 2022. 

The county competition takes place on the 11th March followed by the Leinster Semi-final on the weekend of 26/27th March, Leinster Final on 3rd April and All-Ireland Final on 1st May INEC Killarney.
