Town Tattler – Vol. 1 Issue 9 – September 2021

Welcome  to  our  9th  edition  of  the  Tattler.   As  autumn  takes  over  and,  we,  thankfully,  have teams across the club still involved in Championship games, our front page photo, taken by Mary Murphy, is a throwback to 2018 when the jerseys were washed and ready for that year's Hurling County Final.   A reminder of the many good days we have enjoyed on the field in all codes and the sense of community and belonging that we get from supporting our teams as they represent our great club.   So as championship progresses, get the jerseys ready, fly the flags and be prepared to get behind "The Town".  Your support is always appreciated

Town Tattler – Vol. 1 Issue 7 – July 2021

Welcome to our 7th edition of the Tattler. Summer 2021 is rolling on and as we head into the second half of 2021, we pause and take a breath to reflect on all that has been achieved so far this year, despite all of the challenges currently facing individuals, and the wider community, in these still uncertain times. Our involvement in our games and in making our club a place for everyone continues to give us all a sense of pride and purpose. Club really is family. Thank you for all your support so far in 2021 and we look optimistically towards the rest of 2021.

Town Tattler – Vol. 1 Issue 6 – June 2021

Welcome to the May edition of Town Tattler. May has been a very busy month for the club both on and off the pitch. The return to Rathleague was a huge success and we hope to continue this on the pitch when matches return next month. With the addition of a new coffee cart to Rathleague - our members will be able to enjoy catching up with friends or getting their caffeine fix to continue coaching nursery! All in all a great addition to our home and a huge congratulations to all involved. This month we spoke to Niall Rigney for our In Conversation With series - a very powerful interview, one I hope you will enjoy.

Town Tattler – Vol. 1 Issue 4 – Apr 2021

Hello and welcome to the 4th issue of Portlaoise GAA Club’s new newsletter, Town Tattler. It's hard to believe we are on our fourth newsletter already. We started this newsletter to keep engagement in the club high at a time when we couldn't meet and train, well there is now a light at the end of the tunnel.
