You Don’t Need To Be A GAA Expert
Some of our most valuable volunteers have never played a game of football, hurling, camogie or ladies football.
Skills from your work, hobbies or everyday life can make a huge difference to the club. Whether you are good with people, enjoy organising events, have professional skills to share, or simply want to help out occasionally, there is a place for you at Portlaoise GAA.
What Volunteering Gives Back
Volunteering is not only about giving your time. It is also about what you gain in return. Many of our volunteers have made lifelong friendships, developed new skills, built confidence and formed stronger connections within their local community.
For parents, it is a chance to become part of their child’s sporting journey. For former players, it keeps them connected to the club. For new members of the community, it is one of the best ways to meet people and get involved.
