Town Tigers
Boys & Girls U5 - U6

Town Tigers is a fun and engaging introduction to Gaelic Games at Portlaoise GAA, designed specifically for our youngest players. This initiative provides boys and girls under the age of 6 with a fun, enjoyable, and age-appropriate environment to begin their journey in Gaelic Football, Hurling, Ladies Football and Camogie.
Led by qualified volunteer coaches, Town Tigers runs every Monday for Under 6 and every Friday for Under 5 from March to October.
Using a games-based approach, our coaches focus on fundamental movement skills, introducing children to the basics of Gaelic games in a positive and inclusive setting.
Town Tigers is a fantastic way for young children to develop confidence, make new friends, and get active while learning the skills that will help them as they grow within the club. It is also a great opportunity for parents to get involved, whether by assisting with sessions or becoming part of the wider Portlaoise GAA community.
Town Tigers is open to boys and girls born in 2019 and 2020.
We are always excited to welcome new players, so if your child is interested in joining Portlaoise GAA’s Town Tigers, we’d love to hear from you!
Come along and let your child take their first steps in Gaelic Games with Portlaoise GAA!
