At Portlaoise GAA, our Town Óg section for U7 to U11 girls provides a fun and inclusive introduction to Ladies Football through the Go Games model. This non-competitive environment allows young girls to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy Gaelic football without the pressure of results or league standings.

Town Óg is all about participation, enjoyment, and learning, ensuring that every girl, regardless of experience or ability, gets equal playing time and the opportunity to improve at their own pace. Our sessions focus on fundamental movement skills, basic football techniques, teamwork, and most importantly, fun! We strive to create an environment where players grow in confidence and make lasting friendships.

All of our coaches are Garda vetted and have completed child protection and GAA coaching courses, ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive experience for every young player.

We always welcome new players, so if your daughter is interested in getting involved, please reach out, we’d love to have her join us on the pitch!
