Portlaoise GAA are calling on all players, coaches, parents, members, supporters and the wider community to get behind an incredible cause when the “FTD Brothers” come to Portlaoise on Monday, May 25.
Brothers Jordan and Cian Adams are undertaking an extraordinary challenge — running 32 marathons in 32 days across the 32 counties of Ireland — to raise awareness and funds for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), a devastating illness that has deeply affected their family.
As a club and community, we want to show them the support they deserve.
We are encouraging everyone associated with Portlaoise GAA to get involved in whatever way they can:
🏃 Join in for a section of the run
🚶 Walk or jog a kilometre
👏 Line the streets and cheer them on
💚 Make a donation to support the cause
The Laois leg begins in Portlaoise at approximately 9.30am and the pace will be suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
This is about community, support and standing together for a very worthy cause. Let’s make sure Portlaoise and Laois give the FTD Brothers a welcome they will never forget.
Please spread the word across teams, families and friends and let’s get as many people involved as possible.
