The old adage that goals win games rang true once again in Stradbally this evening, as Portlaoise produced a strong all-round performance to see off Clonaslee St Manman’s in convincing fashion.

Ben O’Connor was a constant threat from half-back, raising three excellent green flags, while further goals came from Mark O’Connor, Kieran O’Donnell and Ross Brennan. DJ White added two of his own in a clinical display in front of goal.

A solid evening’s work all round, with another two points secured.
