Ballyfin proved the stronger side on home soil this evening, overcoming Portlaoise in this LGFA Junior League – Round 5 encounter.

Portlaoise battled well throughout and kept in touch for long periods, with a steady return of points, but Ballyfin’s goal and consistent scoring ultimately made the difference.

There were positive aspects to the performance, with plenty of effort and work rate on show.
