Monday night’s U9 Hurling O’Moore Park experience saw our boys take on Camross, St Fintan’s Mountrath, Colt Shanahoe and Abbeyleix in brilliant conditions.
It was a total contrast to last week’s football with temperatures hitting 26 degrees, but the warm weather didn’t slow the lads down. We had 27 boys involved on the night, with every player getting two games each.
There was some great hurling on display, plenty of energy and effort right across the group, and to top it all off the boys enjoyed an ice pop afterwards to help cool down after a busy evening.
