Built by Volunteers: Kim Keogh

“I volunteer as a way as of giving back and helping other women feel welcome, included, and part of something special. G4M&O is more than just football — it’s about friendship, support, fun, and creating a community where everyone feels welcome. It has given me friendships, confidence, and a real sense of belonging.”

Kim Keogh – G4M&O Organiser

As part of National Volunteer Week, we will be highlighting some of the incredible volunteers who help make Portlaoise GAA what it is.

Over the coming days, we’ll be sharing stories from people across the club and hearing in their own words why they volunteer, what the club means to them, and the role community plays in The Town.

From coaches and mentors to committee members, organisers, supporters and helpers behind the scenes, our club simply would not function without the time, energy and dedication of volunteers.

We look forward to shining a light on the people who continue to give so much to Portlaoise GAA.
