Condolences to the Phelan family on the sad passing of Eamon. Eamon was a strong player with Portlaoise in his younger days and was a member of the famous 1958 team who competed in a first county final in decades for the club.
He was a brother of the legendary Bill, and the entire family are steeped in the GAA and there are extensive strong links to Portlaoise GAA right up to this day.
We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family at this sad time.
May Eamon Rest in Eternal Peace 🙏
