The Portlaoise U15 hurling panel were recently presented with a new pack of gear ahead of their upcoming Féile campaign on Saturday, 20th June. The team travels to Borris-in-Ossory where they will face opposition from Carlow, Armagh and Kerry in the group stages.
The panel and management would like to sincerely thank Juvenile Club sponsors Caroline and John Dunne of Hume Auctioneers for their continued support of all aspects of Portlaoise GAA Club. Appreciation is also extended to Terry Swayne (Portlaoise Stone), Graham Peavoy (Peavoy Auctioneers), Barry Fitzgerald (Barry Fitzgerald Solicitors), Paul Conroy (Jessop Street Dental Practice) and Paul Brown (Touch of Glass) for their generous sponsorship of gear for the squad.
Another word of thanks goes to Barry Oliver of Protection & Prosperity Financial Services, Co. Louth. While the boys were fundraising ahead of the Dublin v Louth Leinster Football Semi-Final in Portlaoise, Barry approached mentor Mick Bowe, congratulated the lads on their efforts and offered to support them. True to his word, he kindly sponsored a full set of Portlaoise GAA hoodies for the panel. We greatly appreciate his spontaneous generosity and look forward to welcoming him to our new facilities in Rathleague in the near future.
Finally, we wish the players and management the very best of luck on Saturday. We hope the lads enjoy the occasion, play great hurling and create lasting memories representing their club.
