In a very entertaining game in Rathleague this evening there was two points separating the teams at the end. Portlaoise were left to rue some missed goal chances in the first half and Joseph’s capitalised with a goal of their own with the last kick.
However a battling performance in the second half was capped off when Gearoid Trotman dispatched a penalty a lead we didn’t relinquish.
That’s two wins from two now and attention turns to the next game away to St Paul’s in two weeks time.
