U15 Football League Division 3: Portlaoise v St. Fintan’s Mountrath

Our U15 development side were in action away to St. Fintan’s Mountrath in Division 3 of the U15 Football League on Thursday evening, with the home side emerging on top on a scoreline of 4-8 to 2-7.

Played in Mountrath, this was a contest where Portlaoise showed plenty of spirit throughout. Despite the result, there was a strong work rate and real determination on display, with the visitors battling hard from start to finish against a physically strong Mountrath outfit.

Portlaoise contributed well on the scoreboard, raising two goals and seven points, and there were encouraging passages of play across the field. It was another valuable outing for this development group, who continue to gain experience and improve with each game.
