Our U9 girls enjoyed a fantastic day at the blitz hosted by Naas LGFA on Saturday, 27th June.
Taking on teams from Milltown, Maynooth, Leixlip and Naas, the girls showcased great enthusiasm, teamwork and skill throughout the morning. Every player gave their all, supporting one another and enjoying the opportunity to play against teams from outside the county.
Days like these are all about participation, learning and having fun, and our girls certainly embraced all three. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow with every game while representing Portlaoise GAA Club with pride and sportsmanship.
A huge thank you to Naas GAA for their excellent hospitality and for hosting such a well-organised blitz. Well done to all of our players, coaches and parents on another enjoyable day of football.
