Town All Stars is Portlaoise GAA’s inclusive training group, specially created for children with additional needs. Our goal is simple: to provide a welcoming, supportive, and enjoyable environment where every child can participate in Gaelic games, build their skills, and truly feel part of the Portlaoise GAA community.

Our players generally range from ages 4 to 16, but we warmly welcome older players too. Training sessions begin in April and run weekly, always focusing on fun, engagement, and skill development. Sessions start indoors, and as the weather improves, we move outdoors for fresh-air sessions filled with football, hurling, and camogie.

The Town All Stars benefit from a dedicated group of volunteer coaches, many of whom are club players themselves, who love nothing more than encouraging participation, teamwork, and personal growth. Every child is valued, and we strive to make sure everyone feels included and experiences the joy of Gaelic games.

We’re also committed to fostering connections with other clubs and sporting communities. Throughout the year, we look forward to friendly matches and showcase events at senior Portlaoise GAA fixtures, creating memorable moments for our players as they proudly wear their Portlaoise jerseys.

Beyond training, Town All Stars organise fun trips and social events, ensuring that being part of our group is about more than sport, it’s about community.
