Intermediate Hurling Championship Finals

Portlaoise GAA Club has contested 2 Laois Intermediate Hurling Championship finals winning both. The first final was in in 1935 when we defeated Ballyfin 3-08 to 2-00 and our most recent was in 1942 when we beat Ballygeehan 6-05 to 3-00.

In the late 40s Rovers, a Portlaoise based GAA club along with Kilminchy joined forces with Portlaoise GAA to play under the Portlaoise GAA club banner. We are recording Rovers victories here for posterity.

Rovers won two Intermediate Championships in 1945 and 1948 beating Raheen and Camross.
