Built by Volunteers: Eimear Kehoe

“I volunteer because I love the game and the atmosphere around the club. It’s rewarding to help out and be part of something that means a lot to so many people. The club is more than just sport — it’s a community and a community I’m proud to be involved in.”

As part of National Volunteer Week, we will be highlighting some of the incredible volunteers who help make Portlaoise GAA what it is.

Over the coming days, we’ll be sharing stories from people across the club and hearing in their own words why they volunteer, what the club means to them, and the role community plays in The Town.

From coaches and mentors to committee members, organisers, supporters and helpers behind the scenes, our club simply would not function without the time, energy and dedication of volunteers.

We look forward to shining a light on the people who continue to give so much to Portlaoise GAA.
