Har Walsh
Tom Walsh

Har Walsh and his brother Tom both won under age titles in hurling and football with the town.

Har played left corner back on the Portlaoise senior hurling team in the 1960 county final. He worked in St. Fintans Hospital with whom he went on to win a number of football titles.

Tom was a very accomplished footballer and distinguished himself on county teams. He won five senior football medals with Portlaoise and crowned his career with a Leinster club title in 1972.
