At Portlaoise GAA, we proudly field competitive Town Teens Camogie teams, from U-12 to U18 (Minor). Our emphasis is on inclusivity and player development, ensuring that every girl who wants to play camogie finds her place at our club. New members are always welcome, and whether you’re experienced or just starting out, there’s a team here for you.

Our U-11 and U-12 teams provide a smooth transition from the Go Games format into more structured matches, giving younger players the chance to build their skills, confidence, and game awareness in a fun, supportive atmosphere. As girls advance to our U-13 and U-14 teams, they join our development squads, playing competitively at county level and continuing to grow their talent. The U-16 and U18 (Minor) teams serve as important steps toward playing adult camogie with the club, preparing players for senior competition.

We’re committed to creating a positive, welcoming, and encouraging environment where players not only improve their camogie skills and play matches but also form friendships that last a lifetime. Our club puts player welfare first. All our coaches are Garda vetted and have completed the required child protection and GAA coaching courses, guaranteeing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
