Volunteers are the heartbeat of Portlaoise GAA, and our club thrives because of the dedicated and diverse community of people, young and old, who give their time to support our teams, coaches, and club activities.
We are always looking for new recruits, and whether you can spare just one hour a week or one hour a month, your time, energy, and enthusiasm can make a real difference.

You Don’t Need to Be a GAA Expert!
While coaching, management, and committee roles are important, there are many other ways to get involved, including:
- Fundraising & sponsorship

- Culture & health promotion
- General maintenance & gardening
- Events planning & organisation
- Match day support …and much more!
Flexible & Rewarding
Most of our volunteers juggle multiple roles but dip in and out depending on their availability. The more people who get involved, the more we can achieve—to support our teams, strengthen our club, and enrich our local community.
